Freitagnachmittags in Heidelberg beim Grillen*
Idee
Die Sonne strahlte an diesem wundervollen Tag, doch ich (Lasse) wurde erneut dazu verdonnert, drinnen statt draußen auf der Terrasse zu essen. Der Grund war meine Schwester, die bei jedem Grillfest panisch ins Haus rannte, sobald sich eine Wespe näherte. Bisher hatten wir keine passende Lösung gefunden. Die Fliegenklatsche führte entweder dazu, dass wir ins Essen schlugen oder ungewollt Wespen töteten. Kaffeepulver war auch keine perfekte Option, da es unangenehm roch und nicht immer funktionierte. Nachdem ich David, meinem besten Freund und Nachbarn davon erzählte, kamen wir zu der Idee etwas zu entwickeln, das die Wespen effektiv vertreibt, ohne sie dabei zu töten.
Artenschutz-Fachberater Thomas Hartmann
Wir hatten die Ehre, den Artenschutz-Fachberater Thomas Hartmann zu begleiten. Es war faszinierend zu beobachten, wie er mit hochdosierten ätherischen Ölen arbeitete, um Wespenkolonien zu vertreiben. Sein Ansatz lag darin, den Tieren keinen Schaden zuzufügen und das Wespennest auf natürliche Weise zu entfernen. Dabei verzichtete er komplett auf chemische Sprays. Es war beeindruckend zu sehen, wie sanft und effektiv seine Methoden waren, während er Mensch und Natur respektierte. Thomas Hartmann ließ uns erkennen, dass Lösungen im Einklang mit der Natur immer möglich sind. Durch Ihn sind wir auf einen unseren Hauptwirkstoffe gekommen. Vielen Dank !
Start der Produktentwicklung
Es war klar, dass die einzige Lösung für das Wespenproblem die Entwicklung eines ganz neuen Sprays war.
Also traf ich (David) mich mit Experten, stellte Recherchen an und nach Monaten der Suche stand fest: die Lösung basiert auf ätherischen Ölen.
Doch der Schritt von der Theorie in die Praxis war schwerer als gedacht. Nach der Schule, tüftelte ich, zusammen mit meinem Großvater, bis spät in die Nacht an der optimalen Formulierung. Die genaue Konzentration der ätherischen Öle wurde mit hunderten Tests ermitteln und 3 Jahre später entstand „BeeSafe“.
Mein Großvater Dr. Guenter Trummlitz (Chemiker), konnte mir bei den chemischen Aspekten und Herausforderungen unter die Arme greifen – vielen Dank!
Produktion mit Freunden & Familie
Wir trommelten Freunde und Familie zusammen, bestellten eine Familienpizza und sorgten für erfrischende Getränke. Die von uns hergestellte Emulsion aus der Apotheke füllten wir mit einem Trichter in Flaschen ab, klebten so genau wie möglich Etiketten darauf und schraubten die Sprühköpfe fest. Diese Flaschen wurden zu unserem Begleiter an fast jedem Wochenende.

BEESAFE WESPENSPRAY
Unser insektenfreundliches Wespenspray ist eine umweltfreundliche Alternative zu herkömmlichen Wespensprays. Es wurde speziell entwickelt, um Wespen auf eine effektive und schonende Weise zu vertreiben, ohne dabei der Umwelt zu schaden.

Umweltprojekt
"Ein blühendes Paradies für Bestäuber"
Bei dem diesjährigen Projekt haben wir uns vorgenommen einen Insektenfreundlichen Naturgarten anzupflanzen. Hierbei haben wir uns vorgestellt für jede Flasche Beesafe eine heimische Blühpflanze anzupflanzen und so ein Paradies für Insekten zu schaffen.
